400 individual paintings, plus hundreds of details with commentary by Mr. Price, make this CD a treasure for anyone intrested in the painting of Japan. In addition to glorious full color image files, there is extensive commentary by Mr. Price on each work as well as collecting in general. This is a fascinating look at the vision of one of the most intresting collectors in the world today. $50.00 From Collection Info: "In the 50's and early 60's I did not "collect" art, but occasionally bought paintings that pleased me. At first I was not even conscious that they were Japanese. I had accumulated art for nearly ten years before someone asked why I collected only six artists from a 50-year period out of an entire 2000-year history of Japanese painting. I had never even realized this! The focus of my collection arose serendipitously from taste, not intent. Upon being shown a book of paintings by Ito Jakuchu, for instance, I dreamed of someday actually seeing one in real life-only to be told that several were already in my collection, purchased unawares since I could not decipher the signatures". - Joe Price
